We began in 2013 with one goal - to fix Soybean yields.
Yields were low, research was lacking, and farmers needed better solutions.
We chose to focus entirely on one crop, investing five years in building India’s first dedicated non-GMO Soybean breeding and production program.
2013–2017
🌱 Stayed pre-revenue to focus purely on R&D

🌱 Built a rich germplasm base, locally and globally

🌱 Ran 3 breeding cycles per year, reducing development time from 9 years to just 3.5

🌱 Conducted multi-location testing across states for broad adaptability
2018
🌱 Released MDS 1001 and MDS 2001, now widely adopted by farmers

🌱 Initial production launched on just 200 acres

🌱 Established India’s first off-season Soybean seed program
2019–2025
🌱 Slowly Scaled Soybean production based on market response to 70,000 acres

🌱 Built direct partnerships with 20,000+ farmers

🌱 MDS 1001, MDS 2001 and MDS 9001 have emerged as India's leading Research Soybean varieties
